Make your own delicious cream cake at home, flavored with a hint of vanilla. A tasty classic made from natural ingredients.
For the cream: 500ml milk & 200g butter or margarine
For the cake: 250ml (approx. 1 cup) water, 125g butter or margarine, 4-5 eggs (depending on size) & 1 tbsp powdered sugar for topping.
Cooking Instructions: Mix the contents of the powder bag with 200ml milk. Boil the remaining 300ml of milk and pour in the dissolved powder. Cook over low heat (about 3 min), stirring constantly to remove any lumps. Cool. Stir in softened butter or margarine a little at a time until smooth. Boil water with 125g butter or margarine. Add the contents of the dough bag and cook over low heat for about 1 minute. Set oven to 425°F. Add the eggs one by one to the cooled dough mixture, mix on high for about 5 minutes. Divide the dough into two parts. Spread a thin layer onto two greased and floured 25x30cm baking dishes. Put in oven and bake for 25-30min until golden brown. Cool. Spread cream mixture over bottom layer of cake and top with second layer of cake. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
